Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional product and logistics teams to digitize business workflows, modernize legacy interfaces, and integrate custom APEX solutions with core Oracle ERP and database architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development:Design, build, and deploy robust web applications using Oracle APEX (v21.x+), utilizing Universal Theme and responsive components.
- Backend & Database Engineering: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, database triggers, and views.
- Integrations & APIs: Build and consume RESTful Web Services via Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) to connect APEX applications with external software and Oracle ERP modules (Purchasing, Payables, Inventory).
- Frontend Customization:Enhance standard APEX interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX to deliver clean, intuitive user experiences.
- Performance Tuning:Diagnose slow-running pages or queries, execute execution plan analysis, and optimize database objects for high concurrent usage.
- Security & Governance:Implement role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security, session management, and safeguard against web vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS).
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of dedicated hands-on experience developing enterprise software with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database (19c/21c+) and integrating with Oracle Apps R!2.

Core Technical Mastery:
- Expert-level knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and database object modeling.
- Deep proficiency with ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) configuration and REST API integration.
- Solid working knowledge of web technologies: JavaScript, JSON, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical capability to translate complex functional requirements into efficient database schemas and UI flows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience integrating APEX with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud APIs.
- Familiarity with deployment automation, version control (Git), and continuous integration toolsets (e.g., Liquibase, Jenkins).
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) APEX Autonomous Database services.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $70.00 - $70.00 per hour
